Someone gave me one of these recently and after replacing the fuse, it was blown, it still doesn't work. Eveything appears to work correctly, all the tubes get hot and the light goes on, but there is no juice going to the input jacks for the guitar. Does anyone know if this can be repaired by me or if I should bring it to a pro. Who can I bring it to, I live in PA. Any help would be appreciated.

aria pro series11 tuneing problems

i am having trouble tuneing the guitar it has a floyd ross adjustable bridge which raises when you tighten the strings and will not stay in tune any help appreciated brian

basically with a floyd rose or any floating bridge the guitar must be restrung or setup so that the bridge is straight ie parallel with the top of the guitar. to fix your bridge its simple and self explanatory. if its pulled forward tighten the bar spring tension or add more bar springs. if its leaning back do the opposite. also jumping between different string gauges will need you to adjust such settings and also the neck. hope i could help.god gave rock'n roll to you. ta.

Depends on the repair and who does it.... generally if it is a professional repair the guitar should not sound 'worse', but if you are worried that it will sound 'worse than it already does' that implies it already sounds bad... so why not just get a new one ?

Shadows fall

it's time to buy a new tube amp and i am a big fan of the saturated but not fizzy sound. shadows fall have this kind of sound. does anyone know what gear they use or what would come close?

Shadows fall used A JCM 800 2203 or a 5150 i cant remember which and the other guy used a TSL100 definate!!!, on the most recent album.

Jon uses a Washburn Nx6 w/ EMG81/85 a Dunlop Crybaby Wah ito a Korg AX30G processor. The signal is then run into the input of a Marshall JCM800 2203. He uses the distortion from his processor. The head is only used for clean sounds. There is a review of his gear in the April 2004 Guitar World magazine in the very back

Hello. I have a red Hondo 767 V. It was given to me a couple years ago. Decent shape, some little dings in the finish. Had to rewire and put in new pots. Took out tone control and running straight off the pick-ups. Plays and sounds as well as the Gibson V2 I had. To the best of my research knowledge, they can be worth in the $500-700 range, in good shape. I'm no pro but an enthusiast. Good luck. TheAtomik.

I just saw your Kohno 20 add and I'm a bit curious ... Is it a spruce top? How much is it? How would you describe the sound? Was '78 a "good year" for Kohno? The thing is I own a Kohno 20 from this very year my self and ... you know, just checking.
