Laney Anniversary head

Hey everyone! I have an AOR Pro-Tube Lead head. It is hand dated 1/10/87. It is covered in white tolex with the matching cabinet which has Celestions in it. It say "20th Anniversary Edition" on the front with a serial number of 4. Does anyone no anything about this amp? I have found no information about. I don't even know if it is legit. Any info would be great.

Thanks

Skynyrd sound

I am trying to dplicate a technique that Gary Rossington does on some Skynyrd songs. He gets a ringing "twang" sound at the end of a note or riff that can be heard on "Gimme Back My Bullets" and other songs as well. I first thought it was associated to is Les Paul Humbuckers and could only be accomplished with that and maybe an effect of some sort but I really think it is how he is set up and just a technique. Can anyone help and does anyone know the sound I am talking about. It is a distorted twanging ring. Thanks

Though I am not 100% sure, it appears that you would have a 1980 Gibson Les Paul Standard. It is atleast from the year 1980, i can tell you that much.

GIBSON SG VOODOO????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi i was wondering if the Gibson SG VOODOO is more like the standard SG or the special, and if its a good guitar. please help!!!

Re: GIBSON SG VOODOO????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dont know how it compares to the standard, apart from it having a lighter body, stronger neck, better built, better pickups, and an amazing tone. never played a standard tho, id imagine its not as good as the voodoo tho, i bought one 3 months ago and love it.

'83 Gibson Les Paul Custom Lefty

I just pulled it out og the back of a long forgotten closet. It has an Ivory colored body with Gold picks and hardware, an inlayed perl design between the keys abd a Les Paul bel shaped cover for the neck tension rod cover, three position rythem - ? - treble switch and four volume tone pot nobs. I'm just curious what it might be worth and whether or not these old hands could learn to play again. It's been a long time and the heart wasn't strong enough but I'm better now.

Re: '83 Gibson Les Paul Custom Lefty

: you want to sell that guitar to me nad I will give you some other guitar that you can learn on. Just asking if you ould part with it, I could really use it and give something in trade. It is a good guitar contact at...

Roland Jazz Chorus 120H

I'm buying a Roland Jazz Chorus 120, but just came across a 120H (head alone). I could use some opinions of the 120H vs the 120 combo.

Re: Roland Jazz Chorus 120H

Hi:
Great amp. I have had a JC Chorus 120H for years.
Recently I had to get it repaired, and was told that the parts would be very hard to find in future.
I have used it for both my Tele and my acoustics.
Good Luck. If you get one, treat it kindly.

Re: wiring an in/out phase switch

I am running through a line 6 ax212 so it pretty much gives me all the cool sounds, just want the ability to get some tele twang.
