Or check Fender's own tech support site - Mr Gearhead - www.mrgearhead.com. Click on the "Fender" button on the left and then select the FAQ at the top. Serial info for Fenders made in the US and Japan.

Strat Serial No Z1041634... Please help.

How good is my Charvel

It has a serial number underneath the headstock at the back of the neck "C700368". It is a one piece and it has a Kahler locking tremelo.It also has an active pickup on the bridge. Can anyone tell me about this guitar

T. Haruo guitar

Ibought my guitar at a small music store in San Bernardino,Ca. in 1981.The haruo is one of the best sounding easiest playing guitars I!ve ever played.It has a presence on or off stage,large,or small room. Chords have a resonance that sustains well while individual notes have clarity with good tonal quality through low and high ranges.I have played and enjoyed my guitar for 23 years,I will until I can!t play any more.

Why does the OD channel of my amp has a bad sound? It's different from the other distortions. I heard a fender 30W distortion and it sounds better?
What is the difference?

I have the head version of the AVT50. Mine sounds fine. I owned a Fender Roc Pro before it and several other heads and for the price this one definately delivers the best sound/value all around. You might try replacing the pre-amp tube. My roc pro sounded like crap till I replaced it then it was much better afterwards.

The SS Steward was bought out by Harmony... Harmony continued to make guitars under the name for years. Look at my Harmony site and see if you can find the model you have... It will give you a start.

Who is Robert F. Flemming Jr., and where can I get a picture of the guitar that he patened in 1886. I believe the patent number is 338,772. Does anyone know anything about this man?

1930 Martin OM-18

When he died my father lrft me a Martin OM-18. The serial number checks out to 1930. The condition appears to be good, with a minor bruise in the side and some crazing in the top. Can anyone estimate the value if the instrument?

Kahler basse whammy bar

Does anybody know where to fix or get a basse whammy bar system. I broke mine. I cant find any reference to the bar from kahler or anybody else. If anyone has or knows where a double whammy bar system is to be found for basse guitar,please, let me know.

I just bought the gibson sg strandard ebony,its in great shape but the lower humbucker by the bridge sticks out like literally and inch and a half and the othe one is only about half an inch. is it supposed to be like this?? if not how do i lower it. please help!

Relax, its supposed to be like that, has to do with the tilt of the neck onto the body, les pauls are similar, oh and congratulations on buying the best guitar in the world, it truely rocks.

The amazing guitarist Armik needs to record at least one CD with nothing but solo guitar. The midi keyboard stuff being used is far below talent level. On his latest recording track 11, a solo guitar piece is outstanding. Does anyone know what type of mic is being used. the acoustic sound is outstanding!

why does my amp feedback

The sound from the amp is being picked up by your pickups, thats what causes it. To remedy it without having to turn down your amp, try standing farther away and not facing it. Also mess with the eq alittle and your pickup placement.

Hi Turk

The standard of guitars has probably risen so much since you last played, most stuff nowadays is fairly good.

If you could get hold of an older Squire Strat. A Korean made one would be the best. As the newer Chinese ones are really cheap and nasty. Your lookin for something maybe three to four years old.

Some of 'em are nearly as good as the real thing.
