I am a new student of classical guitar (playing for only 4 years) and have an incredible opportunity to purchase a 1972 Paulino Bernabe guitar. Unfortunately, I do not know how to obtain the guitar’s fair market value. It is a cedar top, cypress back and sides flamenco guitar. It is in good condition – only a couple of dings and scratches visible, no cracks. The sound produced from this guitar is unbelievable. In addition to this guitar being a beautiful instrument, it is also signed by Paulino Bernabe on the back (near the neck) of the guitar under its French polish (I believe). Is there anyway to verify the value of this guitar. Any help would be extremely appreciated. Thank you.
