LANEY LC30II

i have tried an lc30ii and loved it. a couple of questions. is it loud enough to gig a pub? do the lc50 and vc30/vc50 have very different tones to the lc30? i'm just worried that it won't be loud enough when i start to gig. thanks to all who help and those that wish they could.

Yes, the LC30 will easily be loud enough to fill a pub. Dont be fooled by the 30w rating, a 30w all valve amp is as loud as a 90w solid state/transistor amp. I've got an LC30 II myself and its a great amp, i compared it to the Marshall DSL401 which is supposedly a 40w all valve and yet the Laney not only sounded better but was louder too. So in theory this amp could be anywhere between the loudness of a 100w to a 120w. Thats damn loud, easily enough for a pub. Ive read some reviews and everyone agrees its very loud, some say it even drowns out 100w solid states. Id recommend it.
