: I have one that I bought in 1968 or 69- electric in hard case. Was wondering if anyone knew who made it and any more info I can get on it : Thank you —Ron Ron, These instruments were made in Frederick, Maryland by a company called Micro-Frets. They made roughly 3600 guitars from 1966 to 1973, when the company was dissolved after the death of co-founder Ralph Jones. They listed new for around $399 in 1970. By looking at the serial number, and describing the pickup and bridge configuration, we could determine the approximate age of your instrument. If you would e-mail me with specifics we could help you out. Regards, [email protected]
