Gibson Serials

Hi
I got a GIBSON LES PAUL DELUXE / with the serial no. 06113248 and I want to know when the guitar was built. Got a hint that says 1977, is that right ??

That serial number configuration isn't familiar to me; I'm pretty sure it's older than '77, though. Do you think the pots are original? Get the number off them. The one starting with either 137 or 304, post them here, and I can narrow it dow.

i am looking at a 1977 gibson deluxe and the serial number is 72997536. is it a good guitar? worth how much?

It doesn't look familiar, check out gibson.com and see if you find a match... The way the number is made up doesn't correspond with the date.. hmmm strange
