i know the guitar you have. i think they are jap. but not 100% sure. the # you have suggests its a '92 model. i know in the early 90's they stopped production. as for value, i got no idea. sorry. cheack out www.concentric.net/~rbeer/hmstrat.html youll get a little bit of info there.

The HM strat was made in america for 2 years 1988 and 1989 then later were made in japan. when they were made in america they came in only two factory colors a pinkish color and white.i have a whit one and i dont know how much it is worth. it is amercan and in perfect condition no scratches orany thing. if you could find out how much it is worth i would apretiat it . my start is a 1989 issue

Your strat is worth about $300 in mint condition. U can go get it appraised if u still arent sure. If u decide to sell the hm strat contact me because I am interested. my email is [email protected]

i have a E96.... HM Strat. It was sold as 1989, but i think it is 1992
the E92 des not say, it was made in 92... its just a digit.
