I am interested in knowing the value of my 1953 Martin 5-18. Serial 133046

I think what you have is an 0-18 not a 5-18. Martin produces a blue book with all the information on your guitar. Martin does have a web site.Not sure of the address though. As far as the value, that is determined by what kind od shape its in, ( any top cracks, side cracks, bridge problems etc.) playability and sound. I have seen 0-18's from that era go anywhere
from 1-3K. I am sure you can find out more on the web.

Martin has a new size 5 mini martin made of rose wood that list for about $3500.00 Dolly Pardon used a size 5 martin early in her carear. Check out Madolin Bros. at www.mandoweb.com they will apraise your 5-18.Also, Chris F. Martin III gave his grand son Chris F. Martin IV a 5-18 Martin. Chris F. Martin IV is now the CEO of CF. Martin & co.
