what kind of ibanez do I have

Posted by bryan on Sat, 07/22/00 - 18:37:13.

I bought a used ibanez and I know nothing about this instrument. I was wondering if someone can lead me in the right direction. The serial number is F042902. It has a wizard style neck, locking nuts, floyd rose tremelo, dimarzio pickups(i think stock), sharktooth inlays, 24 frets. The metal plate on back says Ibanez new ideas for todays musicians 1726 Winchester Rd. bensalem pa19020 USA. Any help would be great. Anybody know what it is worth.

Re: what kind of ibanez do I have

i would have to say that you have a Rg series. however, i dont think that dimarzio pickups would be stock on that guitar. I would guess the price to be under $400

Re: what kind of ibanez do I have

it's probably a rg 470 or 450 model and if the pickups say v7, s1, and v8 then they are stock. price range about $400 to $450

Re: what kind of ibanez do I have

if there is a pickguard on it you have a rg350 if it doesn't you have a rg270 but i could be wrong well the 270 with the pickups you have would probably be worth 400$ the 350 would be worth about 475 - 500$ range. I'm glad to help
