How to tell if solid top

How can you tell if your guitar is a solid top? Mine looks like a solid top, but I want to be sure. I have a Yamaha FG336.

this is a laminate top guitar, the FG stands for folk guitar, not listed on the yamaha site anymore, most of them were sunburst, supposed to be a very good guitar, never heard one though.

If you follow the grain of the guitars "top" into the sound-hole, if a solid top, it will be continuous and not show the "breaks" associated with compressed laminates.

Regarding to Yamahas homesite so is FG336SB built by solid spruce top so is even the follower FG336SBII, they should know!
