How much is my 1964 Hofner Beatle Bass worth?

I have a 1964 Hofner Beatle Base that is in fair condition and I'm trying to determine how much it is worth. The bass pick-ups and controls still work and I have the original hardshell case. The finish has some deep cracks and the case has some tears. Can anyone suggest a resource that will help me determine the value? Thanks

Are you sure it is a 64? How are you sure? Is it left handed? I really have no idea how to help you. I have a 79 myself and i'm trying to figure it out too. I would suggest travelling or sending pictures to Sam Ash or Manny's in NYC. If anyone can tell you they can. Or they can get you to the right person. Good luck. hope it helps
