I bought a classical guitar for $90 (Australian)
it has english and japanese writting on the inside label. Also has "AD1966" does this mean it was made in 1966? thanks for any help

Speaking for just myself, I have found Yairi info very hard to obtain, prior to their amalgamation with Alvarez in 1967. And wouldn't you know it, you MIGHT just have a 1966?

Previously I have mentioned the usefulness of www.vintageguitarpro.com for appraisals & possible info. However, for a Yairi inquiry, if not answered here, there are staff members that can help for no charge if you join www.theguitarfiles.com. They are a little different, because they have member participants as well as their staff on hand. Strat man Dwight
