Vox White Shadow Guitar Valuation and info M series

Hi there

I have got a Vox White shadow M series electric guitar, in average condition really. Its black in colour, with 2 humbucker pickups and gold hardware.
Firstly, is the guitar actually worth anything? From what i understand it was made in the 1980's. I have the serial number of 8800518 on the neck plate. I dont know whether to get it restored to a decent condition or not.
Also, if it has some value, would replacing some of the parts with new ones depreciate the value?
