After 2 years of development, IK is proud to unveil details of its first hardware product: AmpliTube StompIO™, a new kind of USB foot controller designed to be fully integrated with the soon to be released version of AmpliTube 2, guitar and FX modeling plug-in.

The combination of AmpliTube 2 software and the AmpliTube StompIO USB
hardware controller represents a huge step forward in guitar amp modeling
processors. When used in combination, this system of the most advanced PC-based
modeling software with an innovative USB controller allows for both studio and LIVE
application use. Connect StompIO directly to your PC/Mac and you’ll have the most
advanced amp and effect modeling processor ever made (you won’t even need your
screen or mouse!).

For the first time, StompIO will offer the same feeling of working with
traditional floor-processors, but with a modeling power that’s unheard of.
10 foot switches, 7 knobs, 2 large displays, up to 6 configurable external controllers,
MIDI IN/OUT, hi-quality direct IN, USB, SPDIF, balanced/unbalanced stereo OUT and
more, all in a rugged metal construction allows you to navigate in a traditional stomp
box fashion to all of AmpliTube 2’s thousands of amps and sounds. This advanced
software/hardware system gives you direct access to over 4000 instantly playable
presets for a monstrous sound set-up.
