As suggested by long-time member and mod, 1bassleft, we have decided to expand the GuitarSite forums. We recently added a For Sale forum and hope to add several more new subsections.

However to do so, we will need to call upon your expertise. To help keep each new section thriving, they will require a moderator, and not just anyone, but someone with a passion for the subject, whether it be effect pedals, bass or strings, whatever! If your keen to see your area of expertise or interest develop into a great place to share knowledge and chat, then your the person we are after.

If your interested, please post your forum ideas as reply here, or you can PM Jason or myself privately.

Tim, if I steal from you on Nov 29th and you only notice on Dec 19th, you’ve probably spent too much time sticking your nose in menus, lecture notes, and girlfriends. You lucky plucker… 🙂

Oh! I so had a good your / you’re response and you stole it from me! Maybe when we bassists seem to zone out on things, menus, books, lectures, girlfriends and the like, we’re really just absorbing them really deeply so we can become all knowledgeable, and stuff?…

P.S. This doesn’t apply to guitar solos, when we zone out on these its because you just arpeggioed us past last orders and we’re having flashbacks to the last round we imbibed.

Not that I’m an expert; but I’d keep an eye on bass, valve amps, dorky anorak speaker impedance questions, and apostrophes. If you’re looking for your apostrophe moderator, then you’re looking at your resident homophone-spotter.

Well, that’s me struck off 😆 . SB on values, surely? Lee on Gibsons? And we’ve had some cracking new posts on modding guitars, too. Line up, sign up…
