Guitar sweet feedback
In my studio, I have this electric quitar setup; Godin lgx sa, digitech Gsp2101 Artist, Digitech Legend. I plug the guitar cable in directly in the Yamaha 02r mixer (for recording a dry signal), and send via an auxiliary out the signal to the Digitech preamp, who is connected to mixer on others channels (wet signal), etc... So here is the question. Is it possible to achieve a good feedback (sweet singing notes on quitar), with no amplifier, just by used the digitech preamp. I can get some but the sustain is not enhanced enough. Maybe it has just need a preamp setting, but I can't find it. Or do you think that line6 PodXt pro :?: , have better performance for this purpose. If I by an amp I don't want to drive it loudly to get this pecious feedback. And with an amp I need stereo output for recording and fx stereo in for used the preamp. It is a big question, but maybe someone have some advice, and an experience solution.
Yes it is possible - we have a very good article on achieving controlled feedback which includes tips on using a Line 6 POD:
