Some years ago my dad gave me a guitar for christmas and told me it was once owned by Eric Clapton himself… my dad bought it from a photographer who stated that Clapton gave it to him as payment for a photo-shoot during soundcheck for a concert in sweden in 1984. The guitar is a “Fender Lead 1” and is manufactured in 1981, I also have pictures (taken by the same photographer) showing Clapton playing the guitar. I would really like to find out if it indeed is the same guitar but I have no idea how to do this… Does anyone have a suggestion?
