Vintage 50's GIBSON AMPLIFIER ??????

I own a 50's vintage Gibson amplifier. i dont know much about it. it has a Jensen electromagnetic coil speaker and is TUBE. It is a khaki color walpaper kind of exterior, and a tweed looking grill. If you now much about Gibson amplifiers please tell me more.

Sounds like you may have a GA series amp from the mid 50's. There is a Vintage Gibson webpage that has pictures of GA series amps but I can't remember the name of it. Pop over to my website VintAxe.com and look under "Vintage Guitar Links". Scroll down to Vintage Amplifiers and you'll find a link to the site. Good luck with your research. SB

Another good shot is the Plexi Palace Bulletin Board (enough there for a search engine to find the URL). Post your descn in the "misc American amps" category and you'll get the info you need.
