HELP!!! Acoustic 6-string with no labels circa '70s.

Can anyone help? I have a guitar that is second hand from my dad and it has no labels or markings to identify it except for having "Model KD 28 Made in Italy" written inside the soundhole. I'm puzzled because I have read the postings about a person with a similar problem who couldn't determine whether theirs was an eko or a kay guitar. Can anyone help?

perhaps you could post a few pix and give a bit more description?

Any photos?

How about a description? Woods used, colour, etc. Steel string or nylon string? Any scratchplate, if so what colour and shape?

It is a Kay (which was an EKO rip off) go Here to see the full range of EKO guitars made, you will not find a KD28 amongst them although plenty of very similar looking guitars, I had a KD28 myself once, it passed through on the way to becoming a "leftie" for a friend.

Madbob, thanks for taking the time to chime in - and welcome to Guitarsite

Is the avatar one of your own, or taken from another source? It's a good pic :)
