The WinMX community is back, the files are back, and the users are taking a stand. Get connected Today.

It is time for the RIAA to understand that they cannot destroy filesharing by intimidation any longer. They may be able to bully Corporations, but the users are not going to sit by and let it happen.

MXPIE is an effort by the users and for the users, with an agenda of making WinMX a p2p network not only for the users, but maintained, organized and perpetuated by the people.

Come Join us, we believe that we can make a difference in this fight to take away our rights. We welcome all of those who are tired of going from one p2p network to another simply because the RIAA flexed its billions of dollars worth of muscles.

MXPIE is quick, easy and free to use, it contains no spyware, adware or any other form of malware. We even provide a manual modification that allows you to see exactly what is being done that only takes minutes to do yourself.

Another site worth note is Computer Problem Help Forum, this site has also been at the forefront of this movement, and can help you with any general computer problem that may or may not be related to WinMX.

Check out the MXPIE Website for everything you need.

I hope to see you on WinMX soon! Realtime help is available for WinMX 3.53 users. Go to WinMX Channels.

Hey 1 bassleft, nice to hear from u 🙂

WinMX is the 2nd most popular p2p network after Kazaa.

WinMX has the supreme choice amongst all p2p esp concerning files and variety. You can find stuff on WinMX you can’t find elsewhere. I personally download mp3s of all genres, movies, music videos, concerts, albums, TV serials, games, ebooks, computer progs, etc on WinMX. I download at around 200KB/sec and can finish downloading a complete movie (DVD rip in cinema quality) in 1-2 hrs. There r also 2000+ chat rooms to chat in 🙂 And the WinMX community is the best! 🙂 Check it out if you haven’t 🙂

To get connected to WinMX …

      1) Go here : http://mxpie.com/downloads.html

      2) Click on Pie Automatic Installer

      3) Hit Save and then save into a folder you call MXPatch 2.9

      4) Run and install the MXPie Patch v2.9.exe from that folder

      5) Go here : http://mxpie.com/downloads.html

      6) Click on Mirror 2 of WinMX 3.53

      7) Hit Save and save the winmx into a folder you call WinMX 3.53

      8) Run and Install the WinMX353.exe from that folder

You should connect then. If you do not connect … Hit Chat on your WinMX, hit continue, and at the black space right of Filter, copy and paste this room name : Vladd44 Help Channel_87A10051138D and hit Join … there will be people there to help you get connected. Any problems, feel free to post again or email me at [email protected]

I will be glad to help you 🙂

      Hello Crystal,

Welcome to Guitarsite and thanks for responding so far. As a mod, I’m sure you can appreciate that a lot of people dump “visit my site, it’s great” posts and never come back to address people’s questions. Glad to see that you’ve taken the trouble to look back in and reply.

I’m interested in the idea but, like a lot of people who aren’t really up on the tech and the legals, not sure about how to go about it. For me, in an average year, I’d say I’m interested in about 3 albums and some 50-60 songs. I don’t want to shell out for 60 albums only to find out that the band, after all, only had one good song in them. HST, as a musician, I do want to see the band properly paid by me for replaying the songs that I do like.

Roughly, how does this work, and why is WinMX a better bet than the pick-n-choose sites that are available now?

I don’t think ppl are that nasty any more, personally I love to share files with 56Kers… we all started from being a 0 sharer or having a few files at one time b4… so I would do anything to help start up their collection. After the WinMX crisis, the leeches are gone and the p2p community has become more caring and sharing, banding together as one… downloading has improved overall generally so try WinMX if u have not 🙂

and while it’s not bad, there are some things I don’t appreciate–for instance-i am still on dial up-and when i go to download a song-i restrict my bandwidth to that download-not sure i appreciate somebody jumping into my message box with nasty comments about making my pitiful few files available.

WinMX is getting more popular by the day, with more people returning to WinMX and more new users using it now … RIAA lost the battle the day WinMX became self-sufficient 🙂 Try WinMX if you have not and see the variety of files that makes WinMX renowned amongst the p2p networks 🙂

I’ve been there. Looks like a really good fight against the big corporations. Don’t actually understand what it’s for. Lost interest. I get PC fixes from majorgeeks. Hope this f/b is useful, but doubt it.
