 Nuttin really goin on at this min. Iam waitin ta hear when we will start, some studio work, Iam working with a very well know artist, James st James, he was with Blondi wrote one way or another, and was with Johnny Thunder, NY Dolls, and Gun Club, He hasent done anything recent due to a serious illness, but feels like he can complete this Blues project. He will be bringing his Material, and I will be bringing mine we decided just to record everything we have, and let Alligator decide what is worth sellin,no matter who's material it is, just pick the best!! We are looking at several positions at the moment, Drummer, and Vocal line,For vocal we have a vision of 2 female and 1 male, with Blue notes in ther voice, We are talkin to a female drummer in California, she is sendin sound clips. I have 2 artist I have been workin wif over the years, B3,and a Sax/Bass, Theas guys have Played with the House Rockers, King Edward, and well know Blues Bands in the delta,Iam gettin kinda exicited to start, but at the same time a little cautious, cause I know all the stress and BS thats involved, and artistic disagreements that will surly pop up!! And I was signed to do this project with James,A Blues CD, I have heard his work and he is a great guitarist and a nice guy,has a litte ego goin on and His style is far from the Blues,But he admits to me that he will be depending on me to keep him in that groove,so I know what I have ta do with that but that alone can cause conflict, maybe I need ta stop lookin fer boogers and just go with it!
Yes, I'd be tempted to do what you're doing. Go with it, enjoy the ride but keep the booger supply dry and ready just in case...
Really interesting, though. Keep us blogged :)
