HUGHES & KETTNER MSM-1 Probs

ive got problems with the msm1.
ive just installed it into my head, and from then on, the amp refuses to show any channel selection at all (even when pressed) and doesnt make any noise (ie guitar noise - but it does 'pop' when swiitched on as normal)

basically the thing lights up, and the tubes start glowing, theres just no response from the user interface side of things.

ive also disconnected the msm1 and the problem is now permanent. any help would be appreciated. cheers
