Ibanez RGT Prestige .vs. Jackson SL3

Hi,
I will get round to trying em out eventually, but i just wanna hear your opinions on it.
And if theres any guitars you'd recommend that dont exceed my £960 budget (bear in mind some guitars are way more expensive here in the UK n im not gonna import!) They must have 24frets, neck thu or set neck, n a FR like trem.

Here's an offball suggestion, but have a look at jim-reed-guitars.com as they have neck-thru models. I have a BE5 bass which is very well made and well under your budget. The UK importer is a one-man-outfit, though which might put you off.
What sort of playing do you want to do with it?
Well i definately need it to facilitate effortless shredding...most of my music is instrumentl rock or metal eg. eric johnson, vai, megadeth etc
Just as well you don't want to import, because I have read some bad reports from unhappy customers but, HST, this site is worth a look to see what other high-end guitars might take your fancy:

If you see one you like, you should be able to find the manufacturer's site and enquire about UK distributors. Hope it helps you to start looking :)
