Does anyone have information on an Ibanez F-302BK Concord
Submitted by brodie_81 on Fri, 09/01/2006 - 07:57.
I have had an Ibanez Concord 12 string, model #F-302BK for well over a year now and I simply cannot find out anything about it. There is no serial # on the guitar, so I assume that means it was made prior to 1975. The condition of the guitar is as close to mint as possible. The neck is straight and the bridge shows no sign of pulling off. I would love to know when the guitar was made, or get an idea of what it is worth. The person who had the guitar before me had a Fishman Professional pickup installed on the guitar. The work is excellent and you would never guess that it was not done by the manufacturer. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Have you checked through all these sites:

Check with the guys at www.ibanezcollectors.com.
My guitar is an accoustic. The collectors site seems to focus more on electric guitars of a particular model.
After doing some hunting, I am now under the impression that this guitar is from the early eighties. I found a guitar of the same model # but with a different pickguard. Mine features a butterfly and flowers, while the one I found only has a floral pattern. I still need help with value. I can post pictures if that will help.
This plain-looking Concord 12 picked up a single bid for £199 on the Fleeb:
