Hohner HG03 - help identifying
Submitted by Bill Koontz on Sun, 04/10/2005 - 22:01.
I was just given a Hohner HG03 acoustic dreadnaught 6-string guitar and I wonder if anyone can direct me to a Hohner model number research site or Hohner history site or wherever -- I wonder when this guitar was made. 70's? It has a maple (I think) top with mahogney sides and back with an adjustable bridge. Can this be a Contessa if there is no Contessa label? My label says Hohner International Model H G 0 3 Made in Japan. Any help appreciated and - thanks.
Hohner HG=03
I have same and says HG-03 on the interior label but on the headstock it says Contessa, but I have seen some that have headstock that says Hohner.
Hohner HG-03
I own that same guitar a Contessa by Hohner HG-03, I bought it brand new for $225.00 in 1972 it says Contessa on the headstock. It still plays like the day I bought it.
