All true aficionados of acoustic, classical, archtop and manouche guitars will be treated to the ultimate temptation this summer with the 1st Montreal Guitar Show, an event devoted to instruments crafted by that exceptional breed of artisans known as luthiers.

From July 6 to 8, as part of the Montreal Musician and Musical Instrument Show (MMMIS) and the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, Montreal will host nothing less than the biggest guitar show in Canada!

With its 70 exhibitors, the event, which is dedicated exclusively to handcrafted guitars, will showcase the masterpieces of several of the world’s greatest luthiers at the Hyatt Regency Montreal. Given last year’s success of the guitar luthier segment of the MMMIS, this year the MMMIS and the Festival decided to get involved in promoting these artists-artisans, who are true stars in the minds of guitarists everywhere.

Guitarists will have a unique opportunity to see, touch, try out, and even purchase the instruments on show at this rare exhibit of buyable quality instruments all at one location.
