A hitch with my Hohner guitare !!

Hi guys ! I hope you can help me on this one ..
Few days ago I changed strings on my Hohner GT3 headless guitar, to my disappointment, the second string is be barely heard now !! all the other 5 strings seems okay though. Please advise if this is a commun pb on this kind of guitars and if there is anything I can do to fix it ...

Is the string muted only when played open? or is it quiet all along the frets?
Did you put lighter/heavier strings on?
Did you accidentally adjust any pole pieces?
Check the string is seated inside the nut and over the bridge correctly.
Is the GT3 a 2 pickup model? if so is the problem there when played on both pickups?
