Hello to all G-siters, regular and occasional. I’m apologizing for my total silence over the past month; especially for any queries etc in the bass cat. My home internet access is absolutely appalling and even basic email is like I’m on a 14k modem. For once, I’m not going to blame AOL. My son has been loading and swapping various CD-Rom games and the laptop is grinding away looking for files that aren’t there. I’ve been too loaded with this term’s work to sort it out.

Ironically, I’ll have a better time contributing in the Spanish cybercaff (regs will know my frustration at the caff’s slowness but it’ll be Lewis Hamilton compared to my home connection’s Terry Wogan). I’m heading out tomorrow.
