I have a jackson fire bird that i believe to be fake now. It has a gold neck bolt on plate with no markings and its string thru but has locking nuts (the gold floyd rose kind) not sure what the original pups are cuz the ebay guy says the emgs are NOT the originals, its black with binding on the body and neck reverse headstock 24 fret i looked at all the jackson archives and found NO such guitar, HELP! (has all gold hardware and i cant figure out how to upload a pic on here)

Sounds like the dude bolted a Jackson neck onto a firebird body from some other company and passed it off as a Jackson. The neck plate most likely came with the body.

Its my fault i didnt say it right, it has the nuts, but it’s stringthru and its not set its bolt on and i have two other jacksn bolt ons and they both have engraved neck plates like they bolt on cover on the back, and theres nothing on the back of the headstock and idk what umean by unbranded but it DOES say jackson on it, so i feel it might be a mix of SOME body and indeed a jackson neck. I dont know how to upload photos on here

I’ve got a couple Jacksons and they all have the serial # on the neck plate. I’d imagine if it was a set neck model then the serial # on the back of the headstock. The locking nuts don’t surprise me since it has a floyd rose trem system but the reverse headstock and lack of any branding on it strikes me as odd. I’ve seen a couple pics online of the firebird and all the reversed headstock were on set neck models.
You should totally get some pics of it up though.

      cheers.
