Guitar Strings

Just kind of curious about guitar strings, are the stock strings better than, say Diaddrio, Ernie Ball or Dunlop at the music store. I'm thinking about restringing my electric guitar and I wouldn't mind some tips on doing so.

Guitar stores should have the information on your stock set of strings. It would be best to get this information from them, specifically the gauge and string type, before you buy a replacement set.
