Johnson Gives Birth to their First All-Tube Amp

- Press Release

Johnson’s first all-tube amplifier gives players the powerful tube tone and classic features such as Accutronics reverb found only in the best amplifiers.

The new Johnson Loredo Tube Amp (JA-T25-R) contains four tubes and features a 10” Alphatone speaker with 25 watts RMS power. The pre-amp section has two 12AX7 tubes and the power amp section has two EL84 tubes for big, powerful amplification. The speakers were designed specifically to compliment the sonic properties of the tubes.

This all-tube amp also features Accutronics reverb for the warm, rich sound heard on many classic amps, a 3-band EQ, 1/4” input/outputs, plus an XLR line out for a convenient connection to a mixing board.

The gain control on the amp is excellent for pumping the preamp level up for real tube overdrive. With a powerful tube tone, reliable features and a vintage design, everything about these amps says “classic.”

The Loredo amp is designed in a cabinet similar to the stylish Johnson Hybrid Tube amp, which features a brown tolex cover and a vintage-style grille cloth.

The new Johnson Loredo amp, along with other new Johnson instruments, will be showcased at the Summer NAMM 2005 Show. Johnson, a division of The Music Link, is a leading manufacturer of premium musical instruments.
