This week, fans can easily see and hear live music online by White Stripes, Coldplay, Garbage, Basement Jaxx and Bloc Party via a new web site, Live Net Music, at http://www.livenetmusic.com

The explosion in live video and audio Internet webcasts by the world’s top bands has created the need for a TV Guide-type listing of live online music – a need now met by Live Net Music.

The site succeeds where search engines fail, bringing fans a weekly schedule of links to live gigs in time for them to tune in and rock along to their favourite bands. Search engines can be days or more behind.

The site’s listings encompass much more than concerts: recently recorded live sets, premieres of new music, unique sessions and star interviews.

The current edition of Live Net Music has full coverage of Glastonbury, the UK’s largest outdoor rock festival. There’s video of 12 acts, including Garbage, Basement Jaxx and Bloc Party, plus as-live audio sets by White Stripes and Coldplay.

The next edition will major on the global Live8 charity concert series.
