Submitted by Michael on Wed, 09/28/2005 - 02:14.
Fortunately that Canadian dude was just a sick joke and the real new lead singer for INXS will be announced very soon! You heard it from me first but:
"I've got to let you kno... nn.. ning ning ning, barb barb barb, crrch, breeeeeeeh! You're one of my kind"
 ahh good one.
LOL! Figures an Australian would be p*ssed that a Canadian got the INXS gig! lol INXS is a joke band anyway, so it doesn't matter WHO got it, it's a lame gig anyway. Hutchense was a poser, who couldn't sing worth a sh*te. Jimmy Barnes...now THERE'S A SINGER. He SHOULD HAVE gotten the INXS gig...but he likely realized that INXS was dead, and just hadn't laid down yet, so he never even contacted INXS's management. He's too good for INXS. Dig....three guitarists, and not a single one of them can play his way out of a wet paper bag? lol !!!!!!!! God!! lol Ahhhhh...I love those guys! lol They make me laugh so much!!! lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-------------Here's what it boils down to kids: any formerly famous band that would hold a contest to find a new lead singer....MUST be in serious trouble. Who gives a damn WHO the winner is? He's a winner amongst losers, right? Right! next they'll be playing for mall-openings! lol
Someone does.......[/b]
Im no INXS fan but they did have some good qualities, it was a bit of joke with the competition thing, the guy who won was a big fan too so he's going to know his place, but at least they replaced Hutchence, Queen just play tributes to Queen, they seem to be a 2nd rate tribute band, they trudge along with guest appearances, and whats the Paul Rodgers thing about? he's a great singer for Bad Company and Free, but he aint no Freddie.
All true.
I feel better after that, sometimes it does you good to get it off your chest.
I agree. Saw Queen + Paul Rodgers at the opening of the Brit Music Hall of Fame. Didn't work at all. He funked every "Freddie" note going, and I'm not a Queen fan.
George Michael pulled it off best when he did Somebody to Love - and I do stress, pulled it off best.
