Bugera shows off new Boutique-Style Amp, Tube Amp, Valves and Bass Amp at NAMM 2010

The 'Soul of Valves' Bugera has announced their new range of amps that they'll be showing off at NAMM 2010. Here's run down on what they have to offer:

Boutique-Style BC30-212 Guitar Amp

All-valve 30-Watt two-channel valve combo with true tube rectifier

Bugera BC30-212 Guitar Amp

With the arrival of the new BUGERA BC30-212, the electric guitar has finally met its perfect match. The BC30 is modeled after one of the most famous amps in history and provides the ultimate tone and sound variety. This amp responds to the subtlest characteristics of a guitarist's playing style.

Channel One's dual 12AX7 preamp valves work together to produce a smooth, mild tone, while Channel 2's single ECC83A produces high-gain sounds. Each channel features its own effects loop. The BC30-212 employs two different 12″ BUGERA speakers for miking options: the 12G100B8 delivers a high-sensitivity, aggressive sound, while the 12G80A8 delivers a warm, round low-end and clear midrange.

The EL84 power stage works hand-in-hand with the all-valve rectifier to produce naturally compressed, sustained notes. The BC30-212 can use either a single 5AR4 rectifier valve to deliver saturation, or a pair of 5U4 valves (not included) for a subtle tone.

The BUGERA BC15 delivers real valve tone in a compact, 12-pound (5.6 kg) combo. This dual-channel 15-Watt guitar amp features a 12AX7 valve in its preamp stage, a Master volume and 2-band EQ, giving it a wide range of tonal options. The Gain button is provided to activate the Lead/Distortion channel.

Ideal for use in rehearsals, recording or small gigs, the BC15 sports a custom-designed 8″ BUGERA speaker. A 1/4″ TRS jack is provided for connecting an external playback device such as a CD player, tape deck or MP3 player, allowing the user to play along with pre-recorded songs. The BC15 also features a headphone jack for private practice sessions.

With the release of the new BVV3000, BUGERA brings the classic all-valve bass amp up to date. The 300-Watt hand-built amp head features a trio of 12AX7s and a pair of 12AU7 tubes in the preamp section, and boasts six (6) 6550s in its output stage. The BVV3000 features a multitude of tone-shaping options including Bass, Mid (with a dedicated five-position Voicing selector) and Treble, as well as Ultra-High and Ultra-Low switches.

As stylish as it is functional, the BVV3000 can take the rigors of the road and sports dual, top-mounted carry handles for easy transport. Equipped with both 1/4″ and professional twist-lock outputs, the amp supports speaker loads of either 2 or 4 Ohms. BVV3000’s adjustable Bias control allows users to bias the amp without any special tools or equipment. A balanced direct injection (DI) connection is included for connecting to front of house or recording consoles.

BUGERA Expands Valve Line (No Pics)

Company offers a broad range of preamp, power and rectifier valves

Renowned for making high-quality guitar and bass amplifiers, BUGERA has always used their own valves (tubes) in the ever-expanding product line. Now the company proudly presents its BUGERA branded valves to the marketplace.

BUGERA valves are subjected to a 48-hour “burn-in” and tested for their electronic performance, microphonics and continuity. The valves are then installed in amplifiers and must pass a listening test before they leave the factory. Only 10% make the cut before being graded and grouped into matched sets, based on their performance characteristics.

Preamp valves: 12AU7, 12AX7, ECC83

Power valves: 5881, 6550B, 6L6GC, EL34,

Rectifier valves: 5U4, 5AR4
