AXL Badwater Series guitars now for bass

AXL Badwater Series guitars are now available for bass players.

The company announced the following bass models: The AP-820 which comes with a split pickup and tone and volume controls, The APJ-820 which has split and single coil pickups, plus two volume controls and a tone control. Pickups are designed by EMG and the guitars come colored in Crackle Brown/White, Off-White, or Brown.

“Badwater basses feature a solid basswood body with vintage distressing, antiqued hardware and a classic-style pickguard. Even the headstock and backplate have vintage distressing. No area was spared from the destruction” says the AXL website.

    I have the brown and let me tell you this is one HOT bass. I love it so much I loaned out my Ibenez and don’t care if I get it back. This is an awsome bass. I’ve used it for recording and live gigs. The audence loves it. I play old rock and roll and this thing lookis like it was on the stage at Woodstock.
