Fender Bling

When I woke up this morning the first thing I said to myself was, “I wish I had some expensive Fender cufflinks”.

Or, maybe not.

But when I looked at their website this morning I did discover that Fender and King Baby Jewelry are getting together to produce a new line of Fender branded bling.

Fender jewelry

This new range of trinkets contains a glittering array of rock-themed rings, necklaces, earrings, pendants, cufflinks, belt buckles, and more, for men and women designed in collaboration with Fender.

“At its core, jewelry is all about the soul of the wearer,” said Brian Tedeschi, Fender business affairs manager – in what must be one of his most soulful publicity announcements to date. “When Fender set out to find a partner that could create a truly inspiring jewelry collection featuring imagery representative of the history of music, we immediately knew King Baby would bring the vision to life.”

At least he didn’t present a piece of Fender jewelry which goes up to 11.

Hold the press – this was in their publicity material:

Fender by King Baby Premium Jewelry presents an ornate collection of rock ‘n’ roll adornments that take the diverse forms of, for example, a gas mask representing anti-establishment underground punk, a vintage microphone that commemorates rock’s early days and blues roots, a 45 rpm turntable adapter that honors the sanctity of vinyl, an amp knob that “taps” rock history by going to 11, and much more.

The new Fender jewelry line was launched at Mandalay Bay Convention Center on the 15th of February and should be appearing for sale soon at www.kingbabystudio.com
