Ernie Ball’s Battle of the Bands is now accepting submissions for two new contests, with an endorsement deal and over $15,000 worth of gear at stake.

The winner of the two contests will showcase their talents and music at one of two major music festivals: “Monster Energy’s Welcome To Rockville” and “Rock On The Range”.
Last year, the World’s Loudest Month festivals featured over 125 artists playing for more than a quarter of a million rock music fans across the country over five consecutive weekends. Now Ernie Ball and the World’s Loudest Month teams up to give aspiring bands a chance to play on the stage of these prestigious events.
The winning band for each competition will receive an all-expenses paid trip to the respective festival for their onstage performance. Ernie Ball also teamed up with Music Man, Drum Workshop, Zildjian, Blackstar, Apogee Electronics, Electro-Voice, TC Electronic and JH Audio to give each winner over $15,000 in prize gear. Finally, the winning band will get the much coveted Ernie Ball brand endorsement.
Joining the competition is free and easy, just register and submit your entry at Ernie Ball’s submission portal and platform “battleofthebands.com”. This website is set up in such a way that you and your band can gain friends, contacts and garner exposure, even if you don’t get the top prize.

According to the press release, “This year’s World’s Loudest Month festival series kicks off in Florida with Monster Energy’s Welcome To Rockville on April 26 and 27, where the two-day destination music festival will feature a massive all-star rock lineup including co-headliners Avenged Sevenfold, The Cult, Rob Zombie, Korn, Five Finger Death Punch and Staind. A few weeks later, one of the biggest and most-acclaimed active rock festivals, Rock On The Range on May 16, 17 and 18 in Columbus, Ohio, will feature live performances by music greats including Guns N’ Roses, Avenged Sevenfold, Kid Rock and many more.”
