New Overton Bass Gear at NAMM 2012

Overtōn is showcasing three new pieces of bass gear at the coming NAMM 2012 in their display booth: Hall D #3394.

They will showcase the Tremor 10mini, The TonLink-DI and the Flyweight 500. These are developed to expand and compliment Overton’s existing product roster.

Flyweight500

Flyweight 500

The Flyweight 500 improves on the sub-compact concept of the Flyweight 200 and brings Overton to a new level of power and functionality. It combines the clean tone and auto-compression of the Overtōn preamp to 4 Band EQ and Overtōn’s Sculpt control, giving high level control of the frequency response curve.

A new Twin-Level master volume section is also added allowing for boosts and other expressive maneuvers. Other features include on the fly adjustments, sculpt, mute, bypass, compressor bypass and master volume select. The Flyweight 500 will be a new contender in terms of audio quality and power to weight ratio.

Tremor 10mini

Tremor 10mini

The Tremor 10mini is Overton’s new bass practice combo amplifier. It improves upon the existing Tremor 8 platform, and ups the ante with 50W of power delivered to a 10″ loud speaker specially designed by Overton. This provides for a slightly louder practice amp to give you a better feel of your bass tone and dynamics.

It has the same features as the other tremor series including Sculpt control, Aux in connectivity and 3 Band EQ. The Tremor 10mini is designed to provide beginners and professionals alike with a practice or portable bass amp with wide dynamic range and response.

TōnLink-DI

TōnLink-DI

The new TonLink-DI will give you the same Overton sound in simple red anodized pedal package. Designed specifically for the enjoyment of outboard gear aficionados, this is a full featured bass preamp. For better flexibility and functionality, the TonLink-DI has a built in FX Loop, ideal for complex signal chains. In addition the two footswitches can be set to engage the different functions of the TōnLink-DI. The right footswitch can be set to trigger compressor or sculpt bypass modes while the left footswitch can be set to either engage the mute or a transparent bypass. Other features include the standard 3 Band EQ, adjustable gain and level controls, and a built-in compressor.
