Dean Guitar Artists Michael Schenker, Uli John Roth and Leslie West will be hitting the road to showcase their guitar prowess in the 3 Guitar Heroes Tour.
Sponsored by Dean Guitars and Guitar Player, Manager Bob Ringe was able to assemble the three influential guitar artists, and even have other surprise plans in store for attendees.
First in the billing is Michael Schenker, who is well known as a founding member of Scorpions and his guitar work with UFO. Schenker also launched a successful solo career earning him the respect from guitar players and fans world wide. Uli John Roth joins in, another influential guitar player who was also popularized by his stay with Scorpions, when Schenker left the band. Last but not the least is Leslie West, a critically acclaimed guitar player who is part of the band Mountain, and much like the other two – he is a guitar player’s guitarist.
In the same format as the G3 tours that Vai and Satriani made famous, each one of the artists will have their own sets. The show will then climax into a 3 Guitar Heroes jam. Schenker, Roth and West will all be in the same stage together for the finale to wow the crowd. There will also be special guests in some shows, even Dean Guitars CEO Elliot “Dean” Rubinson, will make an appearance as the tour bassist for Schenker and Roth.
