Gibson Supporting the New Music Seminar – Chance to Break into the Music Biz?

New Music Seminar

Gibson Guitar is supporting the New Music Seminar, coming to Los Angeles in February. After a sold-out event in New York City this past July, the New Music Seminar is expanding to a multi-day conference, beginning Monday, February 14 and continuing through Wednesday, February 16 at NMS Revolution Hall at the Sheraton Universal Hotel.

The New Music Seminar is the must-attend conference for the emerging new music industry. The seminar will address both the artist’s dilemma of breaking out from the ever-growing glut of music releases and the development of a new business model for a sustainable music business.

The two-day, three-night conference will include a symphony of five “movements” (focused discussions) over the course of two days, 12-18 minute Intensives (presentations) from key industry leaders, 22 mentoring sessions, daily and nightly musical performances, summit meetings and workshops on Rock, Hip Hop, Producers and Songwriting along with ongoing networking opportunities throughout.

The seminar begins the day after this year’s Grammy awards and will feature a kickoff, red carpet event – The After Grammy Jammy at The Music Box in Hollywood on Monday night. The “Artist on the Verge” Finals will take place Tuesday at L.A.’s famous club, The Roxy. The grand-prize “Artist on the Verge” winner will take home more than $50,000 in prizes and promotions from New Music Seminar sponsors – including an Epiphone Inspired by John Lennon Casino electric guitar.
