The Guitar Idol Live Final is all set with the list of finalists revealed and the clock ticking closer and closer to the Lick Library Live event on December 4.
Guitar Idol Live Finals event is right around the corner, and the twelve finalists for Guitar Idol 2012, who come from different countries and guitar disciplines, have been revealed.
The popular vote winner from Italy, Franco Perla, is one to watch out for. He got an amazing 18,000 votes and is sure to wow us with his melodic metal style at the Live Finals event. Another contestant that might take home the bacon is Israel’s Eugene Berger, with his distinctive funk meets shred style.
Young guns have made it to the finals to represent the future generation of guitar players, including 17 year old Jack Gardiner from Liverpool UK, The 18 year old russian virtuoso Alexander Pozdnyakov and 19 year old Guitar Idol Veteran Hedras Ramos from Guatemala. Acoustic guitar is not left out having the exotic Maneli Jamal and Guitar Superstar Title winner – Don Alder, which are both from Canada.
Romania’s busy session player Marius Pop joins in along with blues man and another experienced session guitar player Nico Schliemann from Germany. Singaporean Dhalif Ali is coming in with his brand of melodic shredding along with another shredder from Chile by the name Ignacio Torres. And to keep us entertained, the wacky Charly Sahona from France rounds up the list of final contestants. The finalists are spread out across multiple genres which means players of all level and interests will be able to take home something from the event.
They will be battling it out for the Guitar Idol Title and will also get some exciting prizes from the sponsors which includes:

The Guitar Idol Live Final is a part of the big Lick Library Live event which is scheduled on December 4th at the Relentless Garage, Islington, London, N5 1RD from 3.00pm and 10.30pm. The Tickets are already available and are priced at only £15 and comes with a free Lick Library DVD worth over £20 from a wide selection including Learn to Play Van Halen, Gary Moore, Steve Vai, Rolling Stones, Lick Library Quick Licks and other guitar techniques DVDs.
You will also get a chance to get up close and personal with some of the Lick Library tutors via a series of guitar master classes. You can also jam on stage with the masters.
