Lick Library Live will combine live performances, masterclasses and the Guitar Idol Live Finals in one show at The Garage, London N1.
After nearly being cancelled, Lick Library came to the rescue and offered to support Guitar Idol 2011 by providing a venue for the Live Finals. Both Guitar Idol and Lick Library decided to combine their big guitar events into the “Lick Library Live” event, which will also include the Guitar Idol Live Finals.
The special day to free your schedule on is December 4, 2011. Expect it to be a grand celebration of our favorite instrument. Guitar players of all ages, genres, skills and schools will be there, probably criticizing each other – but more importantly learning and having fun.
As you would expect form Lick Library, you will take home invaluable learnings by attending any of the offered guitar master classes. So bring your favorite instrument along with a teachable heart and open mind. After the classes, you can also jam and get a chance to outstage your favorite Lick Library tutor with your Guitar idol worthy skills!
Aside from being inspired you can then watch 5 full performances of Lick Library Live’s top notch guest artists which includes Stuart Bull, Andy James, Danny Gill, Michael Casswell and Jamie Humphries.
Finally the day will culminate with the Guitar Idol 2011 Live Finals. Cheer on while your favorite Guitar Idol Finalist shred onstage, or you can boo the other contestants. Or maybe you feel that you are the real Guitar Idol and you just want to see how bad everyone else plays – you can do that too, just don’t speak your mind too much.
The Guitar Idol 2011 finals will also be streamed live via the internet so that anyone who can not make it to London will be given the chance to watch, participate and to vote for their favorite Guitar Idol finalist.
