Classic Rock Magazine’s Roll of Honour, sponsored by Orange Amplification have awarded Jeff Beck with the 2011 Living Legend Award
Orange Amplification is the head sponsor of this years The Classic Rock Roll of Honour, in association with currencies.co.uk.
Since it started 70 years ago, this award giving body have been recognizing the best and greatest artists and musicians. 2011 will receive the same if not better treatment.
Aside from being the headline sponsor, Orange will also be sponsoring the coveted Living Legend Award which this year will go to no less than Jeff Beck.
We can be assured that the influential fingerstyle lead guitarist is no stranger to awards. He has been inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice (as himself and as a member of the legendary band Yardbirds) and received six Grammy Awards.
Rival Sons and Black Spiders, who are both Orange Amplification endorsees are both nominated for the Album of the Year Award. Rival Sons also stands a chance to win the Best New Band Award.

The awards night will be held at Roundhouse in Camden on November 9, 2011. Gene Simmons of Kiss will be hosting the event and will be presenting the Living Legend Award to Jeff Beck. And as we would expect, both Rival Sons and Jeff Beck have confirmed to do a number on the night as well.
