Martin Guitar to celebrate 175th Anniversary

Celebrating their 175th Anniversary this year, Martin Guitars will once again open their factory and museum doors to the Martin Owners Club for the 3rd annual gathering at their acoustic guitar manufacturer's mecca in Nazareth, Pennsylvania on Friday, August 1. Past events have hosted over 500 members and their guests, with this year's attendance to exceed 1,000!

The 2008 annual Martin Owners Club Event will take place for the third year in a row at the world-renowned Martin Guitar factory and museum as Martin hosts hundreds of guitar enthusiasts from around the globe. The day long event will include factory and museum tours, live music, clinics and demonstrations, an open mic jam session, plenty of food, sunshine and a special address to be given by C.F. Martin's sixth-generation family head Chris Martin IV.

For 175 years, C. F. Martin & Company has provided the music community with some of the world's finest handcrafted acoustic guitars. In 2004, Martin Guitar entered a new chapter in music history with the introduction of the Martin Owners Club, a new way for musicians and fans to enjoy the “Martin experience.” Membership is open worldwide to anyone who shares the pride of owning or playing the world's premier guitar. By joining the Martin Owners Club members receive items that are not available anywhere else plus access to special Club events, periodic mailings and special discounts.
