Lava Cable – “A Unique Journey” is a video that shows the story behind the Lava Cable brand and its military veteran owner Mark Stoddard.
Right at the start, Lava Cable had a lot of interesting challenges. Mark was deployed as part of a U.S. Army Special Forces Battalion to Afghanistan just weeks after forming the company.
This however did not stop Mark’s excitement with his new venture, as he would still be making cables for his fellow soldiers during his off time. His efforts ultimately paid off – Lava Cable has grown to be a well known instrument cable brand with worldwide customers including professional and popular artists like Steve Vai, Dweezil Zappa, Ty Tabor and many others.
This video gives us a glimpse of the story of Lava Cable straight from CEO Mark Stoddard himself.

I’ve been using Lava cables for some time now and I couldn’t be happier with them. The quality and performance are balls-on-the-money. Until now I was unaware of the history behind this company and it just makes using their cables even better as far as I’m concerned. But in response to another post by liying: WTF? Dude, you must have been totally tore back and completely wasted when you wrote that post! Can anybody decipher that gibberish? It’s a good thing I quit drugs because I would have surely thought I was ODing when I read that mess! As for Lava Cables: keep up the good work and may you rock on for many many years!
