Martin Guitar is meeting the increasing demand for their guitars by opening a new distribution center in Easton, PA.
Martin Guitar has upgraded their capacity to manufacture and distribute as they opened a new distribution center just 15 minutes away from its Nazareth, PA headquarters.
This newly renovated facility has increased space for storage and can handle more materials and large scale distribution of products. It is designed to consolidate goods from multiple manufacturing sources and prepare them for worldwide distribution with better efficiency and speed.
This new facility will play an important role in Martin Guitar’s current aim for exponential growth. Martin Guitar, a well known guitar company with a long history of 175 years, will utilize this new facility and is expected to meet more of the ever increasing demand for their brand of guitars.
It would appear that Martin is setting the stage for a large scale drive to improve their global presence in international guitar markets. This move seems to match up the rumors of Martin Guitar signing more official resellers in countries outside of the US.
The newly designed Martin Guitar Distribution Center also focuses on energy conservation. The facility is equipped with highly efficient lighting, controlled by motion detectors and matched by its increased natural insulation. The facility also has bicycle racks in its parking area and features a walking path which aside from being efficient encourages environmental awareness. This facility upgrades will allow Martin to apply for Bronze Level LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental) Certification.
