Fender honors Eric Clapton’s 21st studio album “Old Sock” by giving away the ultimate Clapton fan prize package.
One lucky grand prize winner will take home an Eric Clapton Stratocaster, an EC Tremolux amp and his latest album.
The promotion starts on April 2, 2013 at 12:00:01 AM PST and ends on May 14, 2013 at 11:59:59 PM PST. And everyone who has reached the age of 18 can join.
To be part of the raffle, all you have to do is submit your entry via the contest website during the promotion period. You just have to give your name and contact information and accept the terms, and you’re in the running for some cool gear.
The grand prize winner is to be randomly selected by Fender from among all the eligible entries. They will make the draw on or before May 21, 2013 at Fender’s Office in Scottsdale, Arizona. The lucky winner will receive a Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster (MSRP $2,199.99), an EC Tremolux(MSRP $2,799.99) and Eric Clapton’s latest album “Old Sock”.
To appease other fans, Fender will also draw ten runner-up winners which will each receive a copy of Eric’s new album Old Sock. Speaking of the new album, here is a cool interview with Eric as he shares the stories behind his latest work:

Dear Sirs: Couldn’t seem to figure out how to enter contest for the Fender so I had another question that possibly you could give advice. I am a 66 yr. old mother that went to a blues for cures concert for cancer and bid on a Fender signed by buddy guy and Johnny lang for my son that lives quite a distance from me. I have saved a long time to give him a gift that he soooo deserves to show my love. I won the bid, and later found out that he loves Eric Clapton and that Eric Clapton has a home here in Columbus Ohio where I live and was wondering if you could get a message to him that a mother would soooo love to have him also sign that guitar for my child. I realize that this is a little pushy and I truly am a little embarrassed to ask but as a Mother I would do anything to see a smile on my sons face to thank him for all the years he helped his mom thru some dark days in my marriage. A Mother can get quite bold when it comes to their child and wanting to show him how much she loves him to do something so very special for him. It is now 5/15/13 and he said that he would drive down from New Jersey in about 12 or 14 days to pick up his guitar and I was soooo hoping to surprise him with Eric Claptons signature also. If there is anyway to get a message thru you to him to request this from a bold old mom I sure would appreciate your help. Thank you.

What country are you in? I ask because Fender have an annoying habit of announcing promotions and then only showing them to people from certain countries on their website.
