Guitar Interactive – New Free Digital Magazine

Licklibrary have launched the first edition of their digital magazine for guitarists called Guitar Interactive.

Guitar Interactive Cover

Like a traditional magazine, you click to turn the pages, however they have added web style content including videos.

Alhtough I find this style of magazine presentation a bit awkward on the web, it looks like the sort of thing that would work well on a tablet – perhaps they have iPad users in mind.

The first edition has over 120 pages, an exclusive interview with David Gilmour, features on Keith Richards, and the Telecaster, and contains over 5 hours of video.

Other content includes an in-depth interview with Guthrie Govan and fourteen guitar lessons – guitar instructional DVDs are what Licklibrary is known best for, and these lessons work well in this format.

Of course it wouldn’t be magazine launch without a competition, and they don’t disappoint giving you the chance to win a TASCAM 24 track – 24 bit recording workstation.
