Semaphore Tap Tempo Tremolo redesigned by Catalinbread

Catalinbread introduces the newly redesigned Semaphore Tap Tempo Tremolo, featuring enhanced flexibility with new tremolo features and a new audio path.

The new Sephamore Tap Tempo Tremolo is a powered up version of the old Sephamore Tremolo. It adds in new features like tap tempo, tap divide, tap tempo input, expression pedal compatibility and 8 different waveforms.

It introduces a new audio path that incorporates optically controlled JFET gain stages to create clean boost sounds. All the common waveforms are now available, examples of which are the triangle, classic square, sine waves and it even has a random shape waveform. If you want more, the pedal has its own shape contour which can morph the waveshape into whatever you prefer, giving you access to a number of other forms.

The Tap tempo feature is easy to use and you can even control the tempo with another unit via an input cable. The new Sephamore Tap Tempo Tremolo also sports a tap and knob friendly look, ergonomic, sturdy and ready for all the tweaking and tap tempo punishment you can dish out.

Parameters:

  • Rate – Controls the speed of the Tremolo
  • Tap Divide – Divides your tapped tempo into corresponding beats essentially creating faster tremolo effects
  • Shape – Used to morph your waveforms
  • Waveshape – 8 different waveshapes to make everyone happy: triangle, hyper-triangle, ramp up, ramp down, lumps and random.
  • Depth – Control how much tremolo is in your signal
  • Volume – controls the volume of the pedal

Like other pedals from Catalinbread, the Semaphore Tap Tempo Tremolo is hand built in Portland, by the hardworking and dedicated staff of Catalinbread. The Semaphore Tap Tempo Tremolo pedal will ship starting November 1, 2011, with a current MSRP of $249.99.
